The giving process
How do we set up our funds?
From your dashboard's Funds tab, add each fund your church receives for — Tithes & Offerings, Missions, Building Fund, or anything else — and pick a default. Donors then choose a fund at checkout, and every gift is recorded against the right one.
How do donors actually give?
One tap. You share your giving link or QR code — on the screen, in the bulletin, by text — and donors pick an amount and fund, then give by card, ACH, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. No app download and no account required.
Can we manage recurring gifts?
Yes. Every active schedule appears in your dashboard's Recurring Giving tab with the donor, amount, frequency, and next charge date, so you always know what's coming in.
How do payouts reach our bank account?
Gifts flow through Stripe straight to your church's own bank account. You set the payout schedule — daily, weekly, or monthly — and the Payouts tab tracks every deposit for easy reconciliation.
Can we export records for our treasurer?
Yes. Giving totals and donor history export as CSV, so your treasurer or bookkeeper gets exactly the reports they need without extra fees.
Who on staff can access the dashboard?
You control it. Staff & Roles lets you add team members with the level of access they need — admin, pastor, or support staff — so sensitive financial views stay with the right people.
Pricing & billing
How much does TithePay cost?
TithePay costs $69 per month. That single price includes online giving, text giving, recurring gifts, funds, reporting, church-branded giving pages, and unlimited donations and donors. There is no other plan to compare and no percentage fee on gifts.
What does the $69/month cover?
Everything in the platform: your giving pages, QR codes, text-to-give, recurring gifts, donor profiles, reporting, and your dashboard — plus full setup and pastor-friendly support. There is nothing extra to buy and no transaction percentage.
Are there setup fees or per-feature charges?
No. There are no setup fees, no add-on charges, and no contracts. The only other cost is Stripe's standard processing rate (2.9% + $0.30 per card gift), which your church pays directly to Stripe — not to TithePay.
Can we change plans or cancel?
Anytime. Both plans are month to month. If you cancel, your billing simply stops at the end of the period and your donor history and reports remain yours to export.
