What does TithePay cost?
Two simple options. Lite is $69/month with a 1.1% platform fee on each gift. Core has no monthly fee at all, just the same 1.1% platform fee per donation. No setup fees, no add-on charges, no contracts.
What are the total fees on each gift?
Your donor's card is charged in full, and TithePay takes a 1.1% platform fee plus Stripe's standard processing rate (2.9% + $0.30 per card gift). Most other giving platforms take 2 to 3% on top of processing, which can double or triple what you pay.
Can donors cover the fees?
Yes. At checkout, donors can choose to cover the fees so your church receives the full amount of their gift. Many donors do once they understand where the fees go.
Are there hidden fees or upsells?
No. Text-to-Give, QR codes, recurring giving, donor profiles, and unlimited giving links are included. Lite adds reporting, PastorSuite Basic, and full pastor-friendly support. There is nothing extra to buy.
Setup & giving
How long does setup take?
Under 5 minutes. You create your account, connect your bank through Stripe, and pick your funds. Your giving page, QR codes, and text-to-give links are generated automatically. On Lite, our team handles the full setup for you.
Do I need technical skills or a website?
No. Giving pages are hosted for you and can be shared as a link or QR code on bulletins, screens, and bulletins inserts. If you do have a website, a one-line embed guide is included.
How do donors give?
One tap. They open your giving page or scan your QR code, choose an amount and fund, and give with card, ACH, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. No app download and no account required.
Can donors give automatically every week or month?
Yes. Donors can set up weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly recurring gifts at checkout, and your dashboard shows every active schedule with the next charge date.
When does the money reach our bank account?
Gifts flow through Stripe straight to your church's own bank account. You choose daily, weekly, or monthly payouts, and your dashboard tracks every deposit.
Is there a contract or commitment?
None. Both plans are month to month and you can cancel anytime. Your donor history and reports are yours to export.
