From sign-up to first gift in five steps.
This guide walks new church admins through connecting your bank and starting to accept donations — no technical experience needed.
Create your church account
Sign up with your church name and pastor contact. Takes under a minute — no contracts, no credit card for Core.
Your church profile becomes the header on your giving page, so use the name your members know.
Connect your bank with Stripe
Tap Connect Bank and follow Stripe's guided flow — enter your church's legal name, EIN, and bank details. Donations go straight to your account.
Stripe deposits payouts on your chosen schedule (daily, weekly, or monthly). You can change it later.
Set up your funds
Add the funds your church uses — like Tithes & Offerings, Missions, or Building Fund — so donors can choose where their gift goes.
One fund is enough to start. You can add more any time in Fund Management.
Publish your giving page
Brand your page with your colors and message in the Page Builder, then publish. You get a clean link like tithepay.org/g/your-church.
Set a one-line giving message — it's the first thing donors see.
Share it with your congregation
Drop the link in your bulletin, announcements, church app, or website. Add auto-generated QR codes for print, and a text-to-give keyword for phones.
Put the QR code where people already look — bulletins, screens, and offering plates.
Before you start.
How long does setup really take?
Most churches finish in under 5 minutes of active work. Stripe's bank verification is the only waiting part — you can share your giving link while it completes.
When do we receive the money?
Donations flow straight to your church's bank account via Stripe on your payout schedule. TithePay never touches your money.
What does it cost?
Core is $0/month with a 1.1% platform fee per donation. Lite is $69/month with full setup, PastorSuite Basic, and reports. Stripe processing is 2.9% + $0.30 per card gift.
